Restorative Yoga is an approach to yoga that is accessible to all levels of practice. Most postures are done on the ground with multiple props so that the body is completely supported at all times. This supportive practice allows the nervous system to calm, and the mind to rest. The calming characteristics of restorative yoga soothes the mind-body, while allowing room for breath and deep relaxation.
During this workshop poses will be supported with props to release muscle tension and to encourage relaxation. As an added layer of relaxation, hot stones will be placed on you during poses to aid in the release of constrictions and provide a warm, relaxing sensation.
