| Nutrition counseling at Sangha aims to inform and provide tools to those seeking preventative nutrition and lifestyle guidance as well as to support and encourage those suffering and recovering from a particular acute or chronic ailment. The result is a proactive approach towards health and well-being while taking specific care to educate each unique individual on incorporating positive lifestyle and diet habits into their everyday lives.
Nutrition includes the food you eat, the environment you live in, the people you surround yourself with and your daily routine from the time you rise until the time you go to sleep. We will explore how the elements of nature including air, space, fire, water and earth are distributed throughout your unique physical composition and how they balance out with elements in the nature of your personal surroundings and the food you eat. We will learn how to employ specific individualized food and lifestyle choices including; specialized herbs, spices, cooking methods, yoga, breathing techniques and aromatherapy. Together we will construct a holistic and comprehensive tool to assist in creating lifelong balance and health in the ever-changing body and mind. |
